PROPANE TRAINING OPTIONS
BRITISH COLUMBIA – YUKON – TERRITORIES
——— Attention Managers, Supervisors & Health and Safety Coordinators ———
If you are responsible for health, safety and regulatory compliance in your workplace, you know you have an obligation to ensure all affected workers who handle PROPANE are properly trained and hold a valid ‘Certificate of Qualification’ recognized in accordance to Technical Safety BC Requirements Directive No. D-GA-2017-01 and Canadian Standards Association – CSA B149.2- 5.2.1
Training must also be delivered by qualified instructors through an authorized training provider, approved by a Technical Safety BC Directive # 2017-01. The training must be specific to the job skills required to operate or handle the transfer equipment and containers specific to that propane transfer type.
WorkSafe BC Guidelines state that employers and supervisors must ensure all workers are:
• Adequately trained and ‘certified’ where required
• Provide direct supervision and correct unsafe acts/conditions
• Ensure only authorized, adequately trained workers operate equipment
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Maintain recorded / written documentation

WHO WE ARE
Since 2001 our clients have been trusting us to help them manage their propane training and regulatory compliance needs. We take this responsibility seriously by ensuring we provide our customers with the most cost effective, up-to-date, regulatory approved training programs available.
We’ve also learned a lot along the way, developing a keen insight into the human side of skill requirements needed to drive productive, safe-work practices. We all know policies, rules and regulations alone don’t give us a safe or productive workforce. It’s the training, attitudes & leadership that drive safety and productivity.
This insight has been the catalyst for developing training solutions that work. We are proud of what we do, delivering products designed to maximize safety, competency and productivity through skill development. So, whether you are national in scope or specialize in serving specific markets, your goals remain the same.
Over these next 20 years, you can rely on us to continue working hard on your behalf, maintaining strong working relationships with our customers, industry partners and Regulatory Authorities across BC, Yukon and the Territories.
